Heceta Head Lighthouse, built in 1892, is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Considered the queen of lighthouses for the Oregon Coast, it is very close to the sea lion caves. Sitting on the cliffs as high as 200 feet above the shoreline and a spectacular viewing from the cliffs for photographers to photograph from all over the US. Location 7 to 10 miles north of Florence, Oregon coast, central coast.
