The Chinook salmon is also known as the King salmon.  It is also the largest of the varied species of salmon.  It can measure up to 60 inches, and have been caught up to 134 pounds going back to 1949.  This was a fishing experience with Lunker Fish Trips, owner Mick Thomas, Crescent City, California.  Bouncing salmon roe off the bottom works great for catching these beautiful fish.  Look for the crawdad in the foreground.
